Who we are

Nordica Request a Quote is a Shopify app made by Variegata Nordica (Mallory Berthomé). It lets shoppers ask for a price and turns their requests into quotes. Questions about this policy or your data: hello@nordica-apps.com.

What the app stores

• Your store’s address and Shopify access, so the app can open in your Shopify admin.
• Your rules: what is quote-only and for whom.
• Quote requests: what a shopper types into the quote form (name, email, phone if given, quantity and message) and the quote you make from it. Kept 12 months after the last change, then deleted.
• Messages you send with “Contact support” or “Suggest an improvement”, and the email address if you add one.
• Technical error reports: your store’s address, the page and the error, so problems can be fixed.

The app doesn’t read your Shopify customers or orders. It only holds what shoppers send through its own form, for you to answer them.

Who processes the data

Cloudflare hosts the app and its database and sends its emails (under Cloudflare’s data processing terms). Shopify provides the store data and handles billing. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising, and no data is sent to an AI service.

What the app changes in your store

It adds the “Request a quote” button through a theme app embed you turn on, and creates draft orders only when you click Create quote. Nothing is written into your theme’s code.

How long it is kept

While the app is installed. When you uninstall, your sign-in data is deleted at once; 48 hours later, when Shopify asks for the store’s data to be erased, everything is deleted. When Shopify asks to erase a customer’s data, their quote requests are deleted.
